Instructions to Participating couples.

13-Oct-2018 (Saturday)

1. Couples to be present at the venue between 1500 to 1530 hours on 13/10/2018
2. Registration process / Instructions would be made from 1600 hours to 1700 hours, issue of ID card, Horoscope, Instructions, shall be made.
3. Couples should be in traditional attire i.e. Dhothi / Towel for male, Saree for female
4. Prathana (Primary) sankalpam would be done by trustees followed by individual sankalpam for each couples
5. Udaga Santhi Japam would be followed for next 2 to 3 hours and Deha Suththi (Snaan with purified waters) would be made for the couples.
6. Couples have to bring 2 sets of dress for changing and finish the day’s pooja.
7. Light refreshment would be available for the couples self service system.
8. Eventhough the place has a vast area to have complete rest, if couples feels insafe, they have to make their own arrangements for their stay.
9. Once light refereshments are over, instructions for next day procedures will be enumerated.

14/10/2018 (Sunday)

1. Assemble at the venue before sunrise i.e. by 0600 hours in traditional dress, preferably male with no shirt (only towel) and Dhothi, spouse in traditional saree.
2. Individual sankalpam for all the couples with their Gothra, Natchatra, Rasi, Name, etc for Primary (Prathaana sankalpam) pooja.
3. Morning breakfast would be available for the couples again upon token system.
4. All food tokens shall be collected upon arrival at the venue.
5. Follow the pooja / instructions and chant mantras guided over there till pooja / homam is over.
6. Minimum it would take 3 to 4 hours for Santhana Ganapathy / Santhana Krishna Homam to complete after sankalpam is made.
7. Once Homam is finished (i.e. after Poornahuthi), Special prasadam (Butter & Dhal Payasam) to the couples be given by the Vaathyar / Trustees and bless the couples, along with prasaadhams.
8. Discussions / Doubts on Progeny session with Astrologer Karai G. Swaminatha Sharma at the venue to follow from 1200 hours to 1300 hours.

Eight Pada - Kala Bhairav - Meaning

I sing praise of Kalabhairav, Who is the ruler of the city Kashi, Who is adorned by lotus-feet which is reverred and served by Indra (Devaraj), Who has a Yagya-thread made up of snake, Who has the moon on His forehead, Who is the abode of mercy, Who has been sung by Narad and other celestial singers, and Whose clothes are the directions.||1||

I sing praise of Kalabhairav, Who is the ruler of the city Kashi, Who is resplendent like millions of sun, Who absolves the ocean of cycle of rebirth, Who is supreme, Who has a blue neck, Who bestows us with our desires, Who has three-eyes, Who is the end of Kaal, Who has lotus-like eyes, Who has immortal monodent weapon, and Who is immortal.||2||

I sing praise of Kalabhairav, Who is the ruler of the city Kashi, Who has monodent, spade, a cord and punishment in His hands, Who is the cause behind the beginning, Who has a grey (smeared) body, Who is the first Deva, Who is imperishable, Who is free from illness and health, Who is immensely mighty, Who is the Lord, and Who loves the special Tandava dance.||3||

I sing praise of Kalabhairav, Who is the ruler of the city Kashi, Who is the bestower of desires and salvation, Who has an enticing appearance form, Who is endears His devotees, Who is static, Who takes various manifestations and forms the world, and Who has a beautiful golden waist-thread with small melodious bells.||4||

I sing praise of Kalabhairav, Who is the ruler of the city Kashi, Who is the maintainer of righteousness, Who is the destroyer of unrighteous paths, Who liberates us from the ties of Karma or deeds, Who bestows us with shyness, Who is splendid, and Whose organ-groups are decorated with a beautiful cord of golden color.||5||

I sing praise of Kalabhairav, Who is the ruler of the city Kashi, Who has feet adorned by two sandals made of gold which is possessing a resplendent shine, Who is eternal, Who is induplicable, Who bestows our desires to us, Who is without desires, Who destroys the pride of death (as in is supreme to death), and Who liberates soul by His teeth.||6||

I sing praise of Kalabhairav, Who is the ruler of the city Kashi, Whose loud roar is enough to destroy all the manifestations created by the lotus-born Brahma, Whose (merciful) glance is enough to destroy all the sins, Who is the powerful ruler, Who gives the eight-powers¹, and Who wears a garland of skull-caps.||7||

I sing praise of Kalabhairav, Who is the ruler of the city Kashi, Who is the leader of the ghosts and spirits, Who showers immense glory, Who absolves people dwelling in Kashi from their sins and righteous deeds, Who is splendor, Who has explained the path of righteousness, Who is eternally old, and Who is the controller of the universe.||8||

Those who study these eight verses on Kalabhairav — which is enticing, which is a source of knowledge and liberation, which increases righteousness of a person, and which destroys grief, attachment, depression, greed, anger an heat — move towards the proximity of the feet of Shiv (Kalabhairav), necessarily.||9||

Important Points to be strictly followed.

1) Those who believe in the traditional Homan and follow Hinduism shall only participate. Strictly no admission for non-believers.

2) Putra Kamesti Homam is organized by Sree Vedic Astrology & Research Institute, Puducherry (A Unit of Sree Lalitha Trust, Puducherry)

3) Intake and participation is restricted to 50 (Fifty) couples only.

4) Participating couples should be present at venue on the Day.

5) Udaga Santhi Homam will be performed on the early hours and hence presence is most important.

According to Dr. Robinson, an eminent sexologist of America ,garlic has a pronounced aphrodisiac effect. It is a tonic for loss of sexual power from any cause and for sexual debility and impotence resulting from sexual over-indulgence and nervous exhaustion. Onion is another important aphrodisiac food. It stands second only to garlic. It increases libido and strengthens the reproductory organs. The white variety of onion, is however, more useful for this purpose.

Carrot is also considered useful in impotence. For better results, carrot should be taken with a half-boiled egg dipped in a tablespoonful of honey once daily for a month or two. This recipe increases sex stamina by releasing sex hormones and strengthens the sexual plexus. It is for this reason that carrot halwa, prepared according to Unani specifications is considered a very effective tonic to improve sexual strength.

The lady’s finger is another great tonic for improving sexual vigour. It has been mentioned in ancient Indian literature that the persons who take five to 10 grms of root powder of this vegetable with milk and ‘misri’ daily will never lose sexual vigour.

Dried dates, known as chhuhara in the vernacular, is a highly strengthening food. Pounded and mixed with almonds, pistachio nuts and quince seeds, it forms an effective remedy for increasing sexual power.

Black raisins are also useful for restoration of sexual vigour. They should be boiled with milk after washing them thoroughly in tepid water. This will make them swollen and sweet. Eating of such raisins should be followed by the use of milk. Starting with 30 grams of raising with 200 ml. of milk, three times daily, the quantity of raising should be gradually increased to 50 grams each time.

Irregular Cycles

Bilwa - Vilvam 

Take some leaves of Bilva, (Vilvam) (English - Bael Leaves) and grind it to paste.

Take the paste to half the lemon size and mix in water and intake in empty stomach during Brahma Muhurtha (before sunrise).

Take full shower after one hour.

Irregular Menstural Cycles will be cured in due course of time.

Stomach pain due to excess discharge of blood will be controlled.

This is has to be followed strictly for a months time.

Bilwa - Vilvam

VILVAM - Medicine for Infertility (Bilwa)

Take 10 to 15 mg of the root of Vilva tree (Bael Tree) and make it to powder.. Add 100ml of water to it and boil to make it 50%. Add the mixture to Milk and intake daily for 10 to 15 days. 

Semen count increases to normality, those who have low semen count / low fertility issues. Intake of this mixture with milk makes the beejam strong and controls unnecessary ejaculation of semen at unwanted times.

Nishekam

Nisheka is used to denote the first sexual contact, while Garbhadana has reference to the subsequent deflorations.  Consummation as it is actually the beginning of the prenatal existence of the child. Sexual union, pregnancy and reproduction of human species are the essentials on which the world exists. Sexual union should never be based upon simple sense gratification. There is a sacredness about sexual functions, and when moral and spiritual considerations are not respected and brought into play; the result will be most unsatisfactory and alt sorts of undesirable progeny would be the products of promiscuous cohabitation.  When a man and a woman are brought together sexually a series of electrical currents would be released which actually reacts on them favourably or un-favorably depending upon the resistance power on the human body or with harmonious or discordant nature of the vibrations released upon them.  Therefore it is needless to mention that the first sexual act should not be treated lightly and should be done only when planetary combinations are favourably disposed for the natives.


Indulging in coitus or sexual union on the first 4 days of menstural cycle will lead to serious evil effects as the whole physiological and nervous system of the woman which would be in a state of tension owing to the almost continuous discharge of blood.Copulation on the 5th day tends to give rise to a daughter. In general, sexual union on odd days indicates birth of female children while on even days. the birth of male children is indicated. In the first instance, sexual union is highly recommended on the 6th day of the menses as it is supposed to ensure not only happiness to the couple but also the birth of a dutiful and intelligent son.

Thursday and Friday are auspicious days while Saturday, Tuesday and Sunday should not be considered at all.  All lunar days-except the Chathurthi, Ashtami, Navami, Chathurthasi, Poornima and Amavasya are good.  The favourable signs are Taurus to Libra and Pisces. The birth star  the 10th star and the 19th star (Janma, Anujanma, and Thrijanma stars) should be avoided.  At the time of nuptials, the 8th house should be occupied by no planet. Subject to this provison, even Sagittarius and Aquarius may be selected as auspicious.

Secret of Panchakshara Mantra

Panchakshara is a Mahamantra which is composed of five letters, Namassivaya. A Mantra is that which removes all obstacles and miseries of one who reflects on it and bestows eternal bliss and immortality. Panchakshara is the best among seven crores of Mantras. There are seven Skandhas in Yajurveda. There is Rudradhyayi in the centre of the middle Skandha. In this Rudradhyayi there are one thousand Rudra Mantras. Namassivaya or the Siva Panchakshara Mantra shines in the centre of these one thousand Rudra Mantras.

Yajurveda is the head of Paramesvara, who is the Veda Purusha. Rudram which is in the middle is the face, Panchakshara is His eye, Siva which is in the centre of the ‘Namassivaya’ is the apple of the eye. He who does Japa of this Panchakshara is freed from births and deaths and attains eternal bliss. This is the emphatic declaration of the Vedas. This Panchakshara is the body of Lord Nataraja. This is the abode of Lord Siva. If you add ‘Om’ to the ‘Namassivaya’ in the beginning, then it becomes Shadakshara or six-lettered Mantra. ‘Om Namo Mahadevaya’ is the eight-lettered Mantra or Ashtakshara.

Panchakshara is of six kinds, viz., Sthula Panchakshara (Namassivaya), Sukshma Panchakshara (Sivaya Namah), Karana Panchakshara (Sivaya Siva), Mahakarana Panchakshara (Sivaya), Mahamanu or Mukti Panchakshara (Si).

‘Namah’ means ‘Prostration’. ‘Sivaya Namah’ means ‘Prostration unto Lord Siva’. The Jiva is the servant of Lord Siva from the Deha-Drishti. ‘Namah’ represents Jivatman. ‘Siva’ represents Paramatman. ‘Aya’ denotes ‘Aikyam’ or identity of Jivatman and Paramatman. Hence ‘Sivaya Namah’ is a Mahavakya, like ‘Tat Tvam Asi’ which signifies the identity between the individual and the supreme soul.

Pranava denotes the external form (husk) of the Lord (paddy) and Panchakshara, the internal Svarupa (rice). Pranava and Panchakshara are one. The five letters denote the five actions or Pancha Krityas of the Lord, viz., Srishti (creation), Sthiti (preservation), Samhara (destruction), Tirodhana (veiling) and Anugraha (blessing). They also denote the five elements and all creations through the combination of the five elements.

‘Na’ represents Tirodhana; ‘Ma’, the Mala or impurity; ‘Si’, Lord Siva; ‘Va’, the Arul Sakti; and ‘Ya’, the individual soul.

Take bath or wash your face, hands and feet. Wear Bhasma and Rudraksha Mala. Sit on Padmasana or Sukhasana, facing East or North, in a quiet place or room. Repeat silently the Panchakshara and meditate on the form of Lord Siva. Keep the image in the heart or space between the eyebrows.

If you practise meditation regularly, your heart will be purified. All Samskaras and sins will be burnt in toto. You will attain Siva-Yoga-Nishtha or Nirvikalpa Samadhi. You will attain the glorious Siva-Pada or Siva-Gati and become one with Lord Siva. You will enjoy the eternal bliss of Sivanandam and become immortal.

Panchakshara Mantra Writing

Write down in a fine note book ‘Om Namah Sivaya’ for half an hour or more. You will have more concentration by taking recourse to this Sadhana. Write the Mantra in ink clearly. When you write the Mantra observe Mouna. You may write the Mantra in any language. Give up looking hither and thither. Repeat the Mantra mentally also when you write the Mantra. Write the whole Mantra at once. When the Mantra notebook is completed, keep it in a box in your meditation room. Be regular in your practice.

Keep a small notebook in your pocket and write Mantra when you get leisure in the office. Have three things in your pocket, viz., the Gita, Mantra notebook and a Japa Mala or rosary. You will be immensely benefited.

Important Formulas - Part II

Goddess Parvati said to Lord Shiva. "O my Lord! What is the sin, which causes destruction of children amongst men. Please tell me, what are the Yogas for such an effect and what are the remedial measures to protect the children?"


Lord Shiva replied: "O Devi! You have asked a very relevant question. Now I will tell you the Yogas for loss of children and the requisite remedial measures."


1) A person will be without a son, if Guru, the Lord of Lagn and the Lord of the 5th are all devoid of strength.


2) The same will happen, if Sūrya, Mangal, Rahu and Śani, endowed with strength, be in the 5th and the significator for children, namely Guru and Lord of the 5th etc. be bereft of strength.


3) There will be no male issues, due to the curse of the Serpant,

• If at birth Rahu is in the 5th aspected by Mangal;
• The Lord of 5th is associated with Rahu and Candr is in the 5th and is aspected by Śani;
• The significator for children (Guru) is associated with Rahu, the Lord of the 5th is devoid of strength and the Lord of Lagn is with Mangal;
• The significator for children is associated with Mangal, Lagn is occupied by Rahu and the Lord of the 5th is in 6th, 8th, or 12th;
• Budh, as Lord of the 5th, being in the Navams of Mangal, is associated with Mangal and Lagn is occupied by Rahu and Gulika;
• The 5th is Mesh, or Vrischik and the Lord of the 5th is associated with Rahu, or Budh;
• The 5th is occupied by Sūrya, Śani, Mangal, Rahu, Budh and Guru and the Lords of the 5th and Lagn are devoid of strength;
• The Lord of Lagn, or Guru is associated with Rahu and the Lord of the 5th is in conjunction with Mangal.

Remedial measures should be adopted to obtain protection from the evil effects of the above Yogas. These are getting an idol of Naga (serpent) Raja, made in gold and, after worshipping it in accordance with prescribed procedure, giving in charity a cow, some land, sesame seeds and gold etc. By adopting these measures the Lord of Serpents will be gratified and by his beneficence the person concerned will be blessed with a son and the lineage of his family will be prolonged.

Sade Sati (Seven and Half year Saturn)

In every body’s life, Moon and Saturn play an important role.

Moon signifies mind. Mind makes us to feel happy or sad and responsible for our emotional set up.

Saturn is called “ TAPAH KAARAKA ”, significator of Tapasya. Saturn is a very hard taskmaster and a stern disciplinarian and he gives results as per our karmas without any partiality or bias.

Therefore, when he comes near our natal Moon, we tend to come under the influence of Saturn and face the consequences of our past deeds.

Saturn takes two and half years to transit in one rasi. Thus, Saturn takes seven and half years time to transit over the 12^th sign from Moon, over natal moon and the 2^nd house from the natal Moon. Seven and half is called "SAADE SATH" in Hindi and hence this period is called SAADE SATHI.

In a person’s life saade saathi comes for 3 to 5 times.  At an average it is only 3 times when a person can experience the effects of saade saathi. The first is known as fading saade saathi, the second round is known as boiling saade saathi and the third is know as the killing saade saathi. 

It repeats approx. after 30 years from the date of saade saathi began. 

As per Astrological classics the effects of transiting Saturn when transiting in the 12^th, 1^st and 2^nd houses from natal Moon are mentioned as follows.

When Saturn is transiting in the 12^th house from Moon, there can be loss of fame, mental anxiety, ill health, suffering from indigestion, unrest in family, and loss of wealth. One may have to face lot of difficulties.

When Saturn is transiting in the rasi of Moon, there will be loss in velour, mental upset and anxiety, fear, pain due to ill health, enmity with relatives and worries.

When Saturn is transiting in the 2^nd house from moon, there can be failures in your endeavors, wasteful wandering, and intention of doing sinful deeds and enmity with family members.

In general one may face the following adverse effects during this period.Your mind will tell you to take short cuts in life, but do not fall pray to it.  Any decision you want to take, take good suggestion and consultation from your superiors and elders in the family.   During this period even your health may suffer and you may have some legs and joints associated problems.  Abortive venture, failures, irritable nature, insults, unnecessary delays and ill health, even imprisonments in some cases, can occur during this period.  Misshapenness of highest order takes place during this period. Our bad karmas of past are accountable for these effects.  Saturn is a tough taskmaster and he gives results as per our karmas only.  Therefore, when he is in succeeding and preceding rashi apart from over natal moon, he brings miseries and troubles to natives.

One should not take rash decision and speculative tendencies should be avoided during this period.  This period need not be harmful and dangerous to one and all. The effects of Saade Saati depend up on various factors like, ascendant, running dasa, Moorty nirnayam of Planet Saturn, Ashtakavarga strength and favorable transit of Jupiter. When these factors are favorable, one may get benefits like acquisition of position, fame, wealth etc.  During this period, propitiation to lord Sahni devata by offering til ka tel ka Deepak, mishry, Dhan, and also giving urad along with til in temple will give relief.  Praying to Lord Hanuman and Kaal bhirava and Lord shiva will also be helpful.

4) the Sign which has More number of Bindus in Moon's Binnaashtagavarga.

5) The direction of country, of the Life partner will be indicated by the sign owned by the strongest of the 3 planets :- a) The deposited in 7th house, b) the lord of the 7th house and 3) the direction in which venus is deposted.

6) The marriage will happen when the venus or 7th lord transit through a sign in which its trine to the sign or navamsa occupied by Lagna Lord.

7) Marrige will take place during the dasa of the planet occupying the 7th house, the planet aspecting 7th house or the lord of the 7th house.... It can also take place when the lagna lord transits through the sign representing the 7th house.

Mangal (Guja / Mars) Dosha

MANGAL DOSHA

Sage Parasara in his classic Bruhat Parasa hora Sastram, in the Stree Jataka Adhyayam, mentioned that if Mars is present in the lagna or 4th house or 7th house or 8th house or 12th house, the person would lose his/her spouse.

But as per classic work called Deva Keralam, if Mars is situated in the 2nd house or 4th house or 7th house or 8th house or 12th house the above same result will be happened. This is called Manglik Dosha or Kuja Dosha.

Hence, combining the above two concepts, Manglik Dosha means the planet Mars positing in 1st, 2nd, 12th, 4th, 7th and 8th house in a horoscope. The most pessimistic view of interpretation is that the spouse of the person with Mangal dosha will wither die or suffer bad health.

Unfortunately so much importance is given to Mangal dosha that many marriages are delayed in search of a suitable manglik match. It causes acute mental tensions and anxieties to the parents particularly of the girl's family. Granted that manglik dosha should not be ignored but there also exist many cases where manglik dosha gets cancelled and this fact is being completely overlooked at present. Mangal dosha can be cancelled within the horoscope it self when Mars is placed in certain rasis.

If mangal dosha is not cancelled with in the horoscope, it is advised to select a suitable boy or girl as marriage partner, who is having similar dosha. It is said that if manglik dosha is present in both boy’s and girl’s horoscopes, then the longevity of married life is assured. Hence one need not fear by simply observing that one has manglik dosha.

CANCELLATION OF MANGAL DOSHA:

The cancellation of Mangal dosha is of two kinds.
1) Internal, i.e., within the chart and
2) Intra, i.e., within the two charts.

INTERNAL CANCELLATION:- In the following cases Mars dosha gets cancelled.

1. If Mars is placed in own house, or exalted house or friends house.
2. If Mars is in Movable sign
3. For Aquarius lagna Mars is in 4th or 8th house.
4. Mars is in association with Moon or Jupiter or aspected by Moon or Jupiter
5. If dispositer (sign lord) of Mars is in Kendra or trikona
6. For Cancer and Leo ascendants Mars being yogakaraka, no kuja dosha.
7. If Mithuna or Kanya happens to be 2nd house
8. If Karka or Makara happens to be 7th house
9. If Vrishabha or Tula happens to be 12th house
10. If Dhanu or Meena happens to be 8th house
11. Debilitated or combust Mars will not give Kuja dosha if he is in 12th house.

INTRA CANCELLATION:

1. If Mars is placed in dosha places in both the houses
2. In the place of Mars if another malefic planet is posited in the second chart
