(2) The lord of the sign of debilitation and the lord of the exaltation sign of the debilitation planet are mutually in Kendra positions.

(3) The planet in the sign of debilitation is aspected by the lord of that sign.

(4) The lord of the sign of debilitation or the lord of the exaltation sign of the planet in debilitation, is in Kendra from the Lagna or the Moon.

(5) The planet in his sign of debilitation is in Kendra with reference to the Lagna or the Moon.

This year Navrathiri starts on the 28 th of Sep,2011.It's a festival celebrated in our country in different ways, but basically it's the worship of the Goddessess, Durga, Lakshmi and Saraswati on all 10 days and nine nights.

It's the celebration of Goddess Durga killing the demon Mahishasura and the Vijaya Dasami is for Lord Ram killing Ravan.

The first three days are dedicated to Goddess Durga for strength, energy and valor. The next three days to Goddess Lakshmi for prosperity and wealth. The last three days to Goddess Saraswati for art and knowledge.

On the tenth day of Navrathiri , Vijaya Dasami is Celebrated. On this day irrespective of Day or yoga, new venture, Sthapana pooja for New factory, industry or any new venture is undertaken. Specially it is best and auspicious day to get kids admitted into schools or start learning of any art / cultural classes.

POINT TO REMEMBER :-
During the course of Navarathri the cleaning of the house should not be done and clearing and moving things should be avoided during the nine day festival. Since it is considered as Devi aavahanam and hence it is being treated as obstacles and bad omen, which will have a negative effect on the native of the house.

Whoever whants to do shuddhi of himself can do it.  The speciality of this homam is that in the other homas, the Vaadhyaar would get the Achaarya varnam from the kartaa and conduct the homam for him; whereas this homam should be done by thekartA himself. Exploration of Water

Since ancient days India is a country of cultivation. For cultivation water is very essential. For all living beings, air is very essential and after air, water is very essential.  Since ancient days man used to get water from rivers.

To get water in places where there are no rivers and natural lacks and procedure to store water in different methods like digging of wells, constructing tanks etc?  This technique of exploring water resources is prevailing and developed in our country since very long time.

Varahamihira has written a separate chapter on this in his work “ BRIHAT SAMHITA”. Many techniques given by Manu & Saraswatamuni were mentioned in this book.

Saraswatamuni first wrote this science. The procedure to identify the water springs and water currents by observing the trees and anthills and stones on earth were mentioned in his works.   Varahamihira mentioned the methods of exploring water that were prevailing during his time, in 54th chapter of Brihatsamhita in 125 slokas.

Water flows underneath the earth just like blood flows in our body through veins.   Water comes from clouds in the form of rain with only one taste and one color. But after raining on earth, the water gets the taste and color depending upon the quality of earth at that particular place.

Kala Sarpa Yoga (The Real Yoga Combinations)

Kala Sarpa Yoga is termed to be an inauspicious yoga and it is one amongst the Nabhasa Yogas.  This yoga in a Chart of a person denotes the Physical Deformity of the person with Weakeness, Sudden drift in things, Unluckyness, deceit, Misfortunes in life, etc.  Its is only because of those planets within the 180 degrees of the Ascending and Descending nodes (Rahu and Kethu).   According to the exact terminology of KALA SARPA YOGA, Kala - Time, Sarpa - Serpant and Yoga - Combination, the native (Soul) is under the hold of the serpant for a certain period of time according to Karma of his Birth.  This is to be kept in mind at the first instance.   The qualities which are positive in this combination of yoga are the native will be arduous in his works, with high qualities in his research field of studies, have a good Administrative Techniques, good on Philosophy, and many more.  He will be much adaptive to the materialistic way of living and have good Spiritual ideas.

Please note none of the Astrologers and their books such as Uttra KalAmrutha, Brihat ParAsara HorA sAstra, Brihat jAtakam, PhaladEpika, JatakAbaranam, Sanketnidhi, Manasagari Pathathi, Jaimini sUtras, never speak about this Kala Sarpa Yoga.  We can deduce that Kal Sarpa Yoga has no reference in classical texts, nor supported by any astrological texts, because Maharshi Parasar, Jaimini, Varahamihira, Ramanujacharya, Kalidas, Baidyanath Dixit, Benkateswar Daivajna, Mantreswar, Chuntiraj or famous astrologers did not accept this yoga.

Defenition of Kala Sarpa Yoga

Agre rahur atho kethu, Sarve Madhya gata graham,

Yogam Kalasarpakhyam, Nripa Sasya Vinasanam

According to the sloka above, Rahu should be ahead of the ascendant (Lagna), and Kethu should be behind, and all the planets should occupy in between those 2 planets and no planet should be in conjuction with either of those 2 planets (rahu and kethu).

Different types of Kalasarpa yogas.

1) Anantha Kalasarpa Yoga :
Rahu occupies the lagna and Ketu at the 7th House while other planets are in between 180 degrees.   The native will tremendous struggle for progession in life, late marriage.  Life will lead to miserable situations for both the partners.  Better prospects of life can be realized at the second half of the life, due to the turn towards spirituality.

In this combination of Yoga, the ascending node will be in 3rd house and Descending node will be at 9th house and all other planets are will be within 180 degrees between the nodes.  The impact will be the native will have sufferings both from children and parents.  The native will loose self confidence in all matters of decision making and will not be popular amongst his friends and relatives.  Native can see uplift in his own life after he attains the age of 36.

4) Shankuphala Kala Sarpa Yoga :
In this combination of Yoga, the ascending node will be in 4th house and Descending node will be at 10th house (positioned at Quadrants from Ascendant) and all other planets are will be within 180 degrees between the nodes.  The native will suffer from his own debts and much worried on financial losses.  The native will be changing the job / business frequently due to hold on financial issues, which will be of main concern.  His efforts will be futile and his movement with the society is much appreciated in times.

5) Padma Kala Sarpa Yoga :
Rahu (the ascending node) occupies the 5th house from Ascendant and Kethu occupies the 11th house and all other planets positioned within 180 degrees from Rahu and Kethu.  Since Rahu occupies 5th house, it can be well noticed, the Poorva Punya Phala is totally lacking due to the impact of the planet.   The Karma of the native is totally afflicted with the impact of Rahu, which leads to loss of kids, or no progeny or the Good & Bad Karma is affecting the native.  Due to this impact, the native will suffer from progeny, nor if begets children, will not have meritorious career.  Will have severe health problems, are experienced till the age of 48.  (Note : If the 5th and 9th lord are exalted and are Benefic planets in the native’s chart, the impact of Rahu is diminished. Prasna Methods : Part-2

SANKHYA PRASNA ( Numerical prasna):

The person who approached the astrologer is asked to tell a number below 108. The number 108 represents the total number of navamsas in the chart. The number selected by the person represents the number of navamsa. By dividing the number by 9 the lagna sign can be arrived and by dividing the number by 12, the navamsa lagna can be arrived. The lords of the lagna in rasi chart and navamsa chart should not be enemies. If these two planets are friends or one and the same, the result will be favourable and otherwise the result will be adverse.

This method is useful in selection of one item out of several items, like selection of one job out of several etc.

TIME OF FRUCTIFICATION:

In Sankhya prasna, the time of fructification can be predicted basing on the Navamsa lagna lord.
Sun - 1 Ayana (6 months)
Jupiter - 1 month
Moon - 1 Khanam (Muhurtha)
Venus - 1 Paksham (15 days)
Mars - 1 Day
Saturn - 1 year
Mercury - 1 month

Prasna Methods : Part-1

SWASA PRASNA OR SWARA PRASNA:

The astrologer has to observe his breathing. The left side breathing is called Ida and right side breathing is called Pingala. Ida Swasa is good on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Pingala Swasa is good on Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday.

When the breathing (Swasa) is favourable, the person will get good health, monetary gains, good food and fructification of desired deeds. When the breathing is not favourable, the person will get adverse results.

CHESTA PRASNA OR TOUCH OF LIMBS:

If the person asks the question while touching his chest, the person will get favourable result immediately. Similarly, if the person asks the question while touching auspicious items, the desired result can be fructified soon.

Naval, nose, face, hair, nails, teeth, secret parts, feet, ring finger are considered to be bad parts of the body. Hence when the person is asking the question he is not supposed to touch these parts.
